FAQs
Where do trips leave from?
1
Whittier Harbor, Whittier, Alaska (1 Harbor View Dr, Whittier, AK 99693), unless otherwise confirmed for a Seward or Homer adventure. Please look at our policies page regarding the Whittier tunnel and parking information!
Can you only book a full boat, private trip?
2
We offer private charters built around your group and your adventure. We do have a few open seats throughout the season for certain bookings (often fishing trips), so always reach out if you’re looking to hop on a last minute or for a solo or smaller group trip!
Can we fish and sightsee, or combine other portions of your offered trips?
3
Absolutely. We build custom, boat-based adventures in Prince William Sound and the Gulf of Alaska and love to have a multi-adventure day.
Do the goats come aboard?
4
Up to you! Kiwi and Bilbo are always down for a little fun on the water. Add a couple of friendly goats to your trip for peak Alaska weirdness and surprisingly great company. Extra cost will apply due to extra cleaning needed, as you can imagine.
What should I bring?
5
Depends on the trip, and we will give you a full packing list for any confirmed adventure! But for every trip at least: boots or shoes you are comfortable getting wet or dirty, layers (rain coat/shell, puffy jacket, fleece, beanie, etc.), lightweight gloves, water bottle and any other beverages you would like
Is there a bathroom on your boat?
6
No, but we have options on the vessel (off the side, in a bucket), but only in certain locations as we obey all USCG rulings: beyond 3 miles of shore - raw sewage can legally be discharged, provided you are outside of state waters and marine sanctuaries.
We typically have the option to hop onto land to take care of business as well, but also must follow National Forest Service and land use rules: always stay at least 200 feet away from trails, campsites, and water sources. Dig catholes, pack in and out trash.
