Cancellations

We run fair-weather trips because the goal is simple: a safe, fun day on the water. If your priority is to fish no matter the conditions, we may not be the best fit. We’re here to give you a great experience, not a rough one.

Travel Logistics

Please plan ahead for arrival to Whittier as the tunnel schedule determines when you are able to get to the harbor.

Review tunnel timing and fees via the Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel schedule, from Bear Valley to Whittier times ($13 for a standard car, round trip).

Parking in Whittier is an additional cost and the lots can be busy in the summer, please allow additional time to find a parking spot and pay at the kiosk ($11 per day for a single vehicle).

Missing your required tunnel time and/or arriving late to the dock will result in reduced time on the water with no refund.

Physical Demands & Remote Location

Fishing, hunting, hiking, and other activities we access can be physically demanding and may pose risks for individuals with heart or respiratory conditions, pregnant women, or anyone not suited for strenuous activity. We operate in remote wilderness areas, often miles from immediate medical assistance. Please consider this carefully before booking and reach out with any concerns.

Drop-Off Trips & Delays

For water taxi, hunting, or remote drop-off trips:

Guests are required to bring backup food and water supplies, and their own satellite emergency devices

Weather and sea conditions may delay scheduled pickup times

Preparedness is essential when traveling in remote Alaska.

Travel Insurance

We recommend purchasing your own travel insurance if booking your itinerary ahead of time. Sea Goat Adventures LLC is not responsible for additional travel, lodging, or related costs due to your other travel plan cancellations, weather delays, or rescheduling.

If you have questions about weather flexibility, trip planning, or what to expect, we’re always happy to help you plan a safe and memorable day on the water.
